It contains contact information for our team, our member content, upcoming events, conference information, app store content, and more.
AL-NENA is the Alabama Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association and is 524 members strong.
The National Emergency Number Association (NENA) is a professional association for those involved in providing 9-1-1 service. This includes police, fire, EMS providers, 9-1-1 managers and board members, telephone company employees, and members of commercial firms that sell goods and services to the 9-1-1 industry. NENA is a non-profit association whose mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system. In carrying out this mission, NENA promotes research, planning, training, and education. The protection of human life, the preservation of property and the maintenance of general community security are among NENA’s objectives.
